I thought I was alone

I walked around the corner toward the elevator bank at work today to find someone standing there with his back to me waiting for the lift.

As I walked toward him, he crouched, leaped and executed an impressive airborn spinny-leapy-thingie, landing facing me.

“I thought I was alone.”

“Nope.”

And he walked, head held high, into the lift from there.

I’m not going to lie, it pretty much cheered me right up. I hope the jump had the same effect on him!
